Taylor Swift and Alex Morgan invite each other to their respective games

Taylor Swift has recently been seen attending multiple Kansas City Chiefs games, leading to rumors of a possible romance between her and two-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce. Kelce previously mentioned in an interview that he invited Swift to one of his games, stating, “I threw the ball in her court and, you know, I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead and you might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.'” Now, USWNT star and San Diego Wave FC forward Alex Morgan is extending an invitation to Swift to attend a “real football game.”

Speaking after the Wave’s regular-season finale, Morgan expressed her openness to Swift attending a soccer game, saying, “There’s an open invitation, always. American football games are fun, but real football is even more fun.” Morgan’s teammate, Jaedyn Shaw, agreed with her sentiment.

Swift has been a long-time supporter of the USWNT and has shown her support by inviting members of the team on-stage during her 2015 tour and helping reveal the USWNT 2023 World Cup roster. She has also been seen alongside Travis Kelce at Chiefs games this season. The National Women’s Soccer League highlighted Morgan’s invitation to Swift on social media, asking, “What would happen if you just called Taylor up?”

The Wave will kick off the NWSL playoffs on November 5, and it remains to be seen if Swift will take up Morgan’s invitation and attend one of their games. Regardless, the friendly exchange between Swift and Morgan showcases their mutual admiration for each other’s sports and could potentially lead to a memorable encounter in the future.
