One of the standout performances came from Carolina Panthers’ rookie quarterback, Bryce Young. Despite the Panthers’ 33-30 loss to the Green Bay Packers, Young delivered an impressive performance, achieving his first 300-yard passing game and a career-best passer rating of 113.0.
The Panthers’ wide receivers, DJ Chark and Adam Thielen, also played significant roles in the game. Chark had a season-high six catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns, while Thielen caught six passes for 94 yards. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, sustained an injury to his throwing shoulder during the game against the Houston Texans. He will undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury.
The Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns also had notable performances. Colts’ head coach, Jeff Saturday, praised his team’s ability to adapt and make adjustments during the game. Browns’ wide receiver, Donovan Peoples-Jones, set a new franchise record for the most receiving yards in a single game.
