LG Gram Pro 2-in-1 and Laptop with OLED Screens at CES 2024

1 min read

At CES 2024, LG unveiled its latest Gram Pro laptops, featuring upgraded OLED panels that support touch input and variable refresh rates. The new models come with Intel’s Meteor Lake processors and up to NVIDIA’s RTX 3070 graphics cards. The laptops are available in 16- and 17-inch sizes, with OLED and IPS display options. LG also upgraded its stylus, which now recharges magnetically when attached to the laptops.

The Gram Pros’ processors are equipped with Intel’s AI Boost, and LG is offering its Link software that allows users to use Windows, Android, and even iOS devices as secondary displays. However, these features were not demonstrated at the CES 2024 demo area.

The laptops have a more durable build than previous models, using a nano-magnesium alloy and a dual-fan cooling system. The 17-inch Gram Pro is surprisingly sleek, with a contoured edge and a weight of 3 pounds. The 2-in-1 version, which only comes in a 16-inch size, is the lightest 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop, weighing just 3 pounds.

The OLED panels offer a variable refresh rate between 48 and 120Hz, while the IPS panels stretch that range to 31Hz and 140Hz. The Gram Pro series will be available in February and will start at $1,499. For more information, check out our news post on the 2024 Gram Pro laptops.
