Horizon Forbidden West PC Gets DLSS 3 Support from Nvidia

1 min read

Horizon Forbidden West, the popular action-adventure game from Guerrilla, is set to receive DLSS 3 support when it arrives on PC. This technology, exclusive to Nvidia’s RTX 40 series GPUs, can increase frame rates for supported games by rendering at a lower resolution and using AI to upscale the image.

DLSS 3 is becoming increasingly common among PC games, with titles like Diablo IV, Tekken 8, Fortnite, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and Alan Wake 2 already supporting the tech.

In our review of Horizon Forbidden West, we praised the game for its stunning visuals and engaging story. With the addition of DLSS 3, players with RTX 40 series GPUs can expect an even smoother gaming experience.

Horizon Forbidden West was released last year and has been a critical and commercial success. The game follows Aloy as she explores a post-apocalyptic world filled with robotic creatures and ancient ruins.

Nvidia’s CES 2024 keynote also saw the announcement of the RTX 40 Super series GPUs and the beta release date for the RTX Remix tool.
