Fox News Media Reports on President Biden’s Dog Commander’s Aggressive Behavior Towards Secret Service Personnel

2 min read

Fox News Media, a leading news organization, has reported on numerous incidents involving President Biden’s dog, Commander, and his aggressive behavior towards Secret Service personnel. According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Commander attacked and bit Secret Service members at least 24 times between October 2022 and July 2023, leading to his removal from the White House campus.

The first documented incident occurred at the White House, where Commander grabbed an agent’s left arm as President Biden entered the Palm Room. Although the agent was not punctured, the incident marked the beginning of a series of altercations that took place in various locations, including Wilmington, Delaware, Camp David, and Biden’s beach house in Rehoboth Beach.

One of the most severe incidents occurred on June 11, 2023, when Commander bit a staff member on the left forearm while first lady Jill Biden was moving from the Cabana to the Oval Dining Room. The agent required stitches and the incident caused significant disruption, with tours of the East Wing being halted to clean up blood from the floor.

Despite efforts to document all incidents and adjust operational tactics when Commander was present, the dog continued to pose a threat. On July 29, 2023, Commander attacked an agent working on a temporary assignment at the Biden’s beach house in Rehoboth Beach, resulting in a severe deep open wound and significant blood loss.

By September 2023, Commander had been removed from the White House campus. The U.S. Secret Service issued a statement expressing their commitment to the safety and well-being of their employees and their adherence to guidelines for documenting workplace injuries involving family pets.

The Bidens’ previous dog, Major, also exhibited aggressive behavior, including biting Secret Service and White House staff, and was eventually sent to live with friends in Delaware.

The incidents involving Commander and Major highlight the importance of responsible pet ownership and the need for qualified training and consistent discipline to ensure the safety of all individuals around the pet.
