Dungeons and Dragons 50th Anniversary Collectibles: Beholders, Strongheart, Sacred Statue, and More

Dungeons and Dragons, the world’s greatest role-playing game, has been a beloved pastime for fans for the past 50 years. To celebrate this milestone, Wizards of the Coast has released a series of collectibles that are sure to delight fans of all ages. In this article, we will explore some of the latest offerings from the D&D 50th Anniversary lineup, including the beholder art figure, Strongheart figure, Sacred Statue plushie, and gem wyrmling plushies.

First up, the beholder art figure is a 7″ blank resin art figure that allows fans to customize the iconic eye tyrant to their heart’s content. This online-exclusive figure is available in three versions: the blank version, which costs $59.99, and the 50th Anniversary Black and Gold edition and Glow-in-the-Dark version, which are priced at $79.99 each. All three figures will be available in September.

Next, we have a callback to the 1984 adventure module, Quest for Heartstone, with Strongheart himself available as a 7″ scale action figure. This updated version of the original figure features a retro painted design and comes with a sword and sheath, dagger, cape, and articulated helmet visor. Strongheart will be available in April for $29.99.

For those looking for something a little more retro, the Sacred Statue plushie might be more to their liking. Originally featured on the original player’s handbook, this plushie stands at 13″ tall and is designed to be hugged by fans with fond memories of first edition D&D. Unfortunately, this construct won’t come to life and attack you if you steal its eye, but a bard can dream. The Sacred Statue plushie will be available in July for $34.99.

Finally, we have five adorable, limited-edition gem wyrmling plushies that come in amethyst, crystal, emerald, sapphire, and topaz flavors. These plushies are sure to be a hit with collectors and fans of all ages.

Wizkids kicked off the D&D 50th anniversary festivities with their largest minis set ever, and a limited complete edition of the Tomb of Annihilation minis.
