Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition to Support DLSS 3 on PC, New Trailer Released

1 min read

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, the upcoming PC release of the popular action-adventure game, will support NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 technology. The announcement was made in conjunction with the release of a new PC trailer for the game.

The Complete Edition includes the main game and its Burning Shores expansion, which showcased impressive visuals on the PS5. Alongside DLSS 3, the game will also support DLAA and NVIDIA Reflex. However, there is currently no information on whether it will include Ray Tracing effects.

The first Horizon game did not have any Ray Tracing effects, but since Nixxes is handling the port, there is a possibility that some may be included. Fans are eagerly anticipating the game’s PC release, which is expected in early 2024.

Unfortunately, there is no information available on the game’s PC system requirements or whether it will support FSR 3.0 alongside DLSS 3. It is possible that PC gamers may be able to use the “DLSS 3 to FSR 3.0” Mod as an alternative.

John Papadopoulos, the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming, shared the news and the new PC trailer on the website. Papadopoulos is a PC gaming fan and has written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is being developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Nixxes Software is handling the PC port. Stay tuned for more information on this highly anticipated game.
