Sheffield United manager, Paul Heckingbottom, has assured fans that Chris Basham’s lower-leg injury will not end his football career. The 35-year-old was injured during a match against Fulham earlier this month when he injured his standing leg while attempting a cross. Basham was subsequently carried off the pitch on a stretcher and has since undergone two operations on his leg.
